Complete Bolted Joint Analysis - VDI 2230 Guidelines



Perform a complete verification of the bolted joint according to the VDI 2230 methodology. The software calculates preload ranges, safety factors, stiffness ratios, bolt elongation, joint compression, fatigue resistance and preload variation due to temperature.
FEM data (from your static, harmonic, transient or random vibration analysis) can be imported to reduce modeling effort and increase accuracy.
All calculations follow a traceable and repeatable workflow, suitable for design documentation and technical audits.




 








EN 1591-1 Analysis for Flanged Joints



Bolt Analytics PRO supports bolted flange and gasketed joint analysis according to EN 1591-1.
The software evaluates bolt load distribution, gasket stress verification and preload variation due to pressure and temperature.
This module is particularly suited for applications in pressure equipment, piping systems and process industry.
The user can setup different scenarios (typically: test condition (I=1), design condition (I=2), operating condition n°1 (I=3), ...) and verify bolt, gasket and flange reliability in one click.
